Holy, Moley, me, oh my,
You’re the apple of my eye,
Girl I’ve never loved one like you.
Man oh man you’re my best friend,
I scream it to the nothingness,
There ain’t nothing that I need.
Well, hot and heavy, pumpkin pie,
Chocolate candy, Jesus Christ,
Ain’t nothing please me more than you.
Ahh Home. Let me come home
Home is wherever I’m with you.
Ahh Home. Let me go ho-oh-ome.
Home is wherever I’m with you.
I’ll follow you into the park,
Through the jungle through the dark,Girl I never loved one like you.
Moats and boats and waterfalls,
Alley-ways and pay phone calls,
I’ve been everywhere with you.
We laugh until we think we’ll die,
Barefoot on a summer night
Nothin’ new is sweeter than with you
And in the streets you run afree,
Like it’s only you and me,
Geeze, you’re something to see.
Ahh Home. Let me go home.
Home is wherever I’m with you.
Ahh Home. Let me go ho-oh-ome.
Home is wherever I’m with you.I am completely in love with this song.

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home
This song has been on repeat-ish for the last few days.
There is a lot of dancing & singing going on in my apartment this morning.
If I can just stand still long enough to get some pants on, I’m heading to my sunny ole mountain…

my first multitrack recording using the iphone! not my favorite ever, but I’m pretty happy with it. I like this whole lo-fi recording thing. again, did it in the bathroom. guitar, vocals, trumpet, whistling, bass drum (bathmat on the side of the bathtub), snare drum (tile floor), and tambourine. light editing in audacity.
please lemme know what you think! any feedback, good bad or otherwise, is always appreciated.
I’m not gonna post it cause it needs SO MUCH WORK. I’m gonna end up re-recording the whole thing. but I must say that I’m really excited to finish and post it, because guitar + vocals + trumpet + whistling + bathmat over the side of the bathtub for a bass drum + bathroom tile for a snare + tambourine = pretty amazing. idk when I’m gonna get around to finishing it (maybe tonight after climbing haha) but I think y’all will enjoy it :D
