Hi there! I’m Dustin, a 24 year old climber from the DC Metro Area. I love my life and am doing my best to live it the right way every day.
I work as an instructor at the biggest rock gym in the country (Earth Treks Rockville!), and I absolutely love my job! I also train 4 or 5 days a week, and I love the feeling of movement on the wall. I compete whenever I can, and I live for the times I can get outside on real rock.
Climbing has defined me and my life for the past few years, and most everything I do revolves around the sport. I’m also stoked to be a Skratch Labs Ambassador this year, and I’m proud to represent such a fantastic brand.
I love playing music, and I’ve been messing around on the guitar for a few years now. I attempt to sing, and I’m learning the ukulele. At one point, I was a pretty darn good trumpet player, but I haven’t had any reason to pick that instrument up in a while. I also surf (poorly) and love the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and Hatteras is like a second home to me.
Otherwise, I’m an adventurer in a constant state of wanderlust. I love roadtrips, open mic nights, and bonfires on the beach. I’m lucky to have a wonderful life surrounded by wonderful people.
